Local Energy Scotland - Community Heat Development Programme

Supporters eligible community organisations and groups of householders to help develop their ideas for locally-generated, low and zero carbon heat project ideas. Successful applicants will receive technical support.

King George V Wind Turbine Fund

The fund covers several communities including Crathes, Durris, Drumoak, Banchory, Finzean, Strachan, Torphins, Lumphanan and Inchmarlo. Priorities include participation in education, sport and arts, social inclusion, sustainable developments.

South Lanarkshire Council - Renewable Energy Fund

Funds are available for capital projects which improve quality of life and economic prosperity of communities within 10km of participating renewable energy developments at Whitelee, Pates Hill, Stallashaw and Blacklaw.

NHS National Services Scotland - Community Benefit Gateway

Community Benefit Gateway (CBG) is a free and easy to use online service that connects NHS Scotland suppliers with third sector community organisations within Scotland.

Western Isles Development Trust - Main Fund

The purpose of the trust is to support the regeneration and development of the Outer Hebrides through disbursement of Community Benefit secured from the local deployment of Renewable Energy installations.

Foundation Scotland - Glenkens & District Community Fund

Funding to support our communities to be connected, resilient and carbon-neutral place. Priorities for the fund are directly linked to the Glenkens & District Community Action Plan.

The Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) supports communities to engage with, participate in and benefit from the energy transition to net zero emissions.

Soirbheas - Tier 2 and 3 Grants

Soirbheas provide grants mostly funded by the Corrimony windfarm. The beneficiaries of projects must be resident in the Glen Urquhart or Strathglass Community Council areas.
